When I was a child, my mom would usually ask me where I want to go when I grow up. She told me that she would love to go somewhere she could relax. During that time, I really don't get her point of going somewhere and lay down to get long sleep.  But now, I can understand her side. When i finished college and have stable life, I would bring my mom to the place where she wants. By that time, I think she's old. I want her to be happy. In that certain place, she could do whatever she wants.I'll make sure she is going to enjoy it. I don't care how much it will cost me.  I'll pay for it. I love my mom so much that it would take forever to explain it. <3 Mama, I love you.


The title of this post is NIDA because it is my mom's name. :)

MEET DIANNE MANALO-LUKBAN.

I met her 5 years ago. She was a bubbly girl talking to everyone. She is very approachable. I remember the first time I saw her. It was the first day of school. I knew we would be friends. :)

If I would be ask to describe her, it would be in a bullet form.

It's been 4 years since I met my best buddies and best sisters. It was 22nd of August year 2009 when we named our group "MARDZ". Mardz stands for M-Merland, A-Ana, R-Rozette, D-Dianne and Z-iZza. The name of our group is very unique that's why we all love it.

During  our high school days, we love to spend free time together. We usually make our projects, assignments and other school works together. Every time we do our school works together, Dianne would suggest to do it at her place. Dianne's parents were very supportive. They always make sure that we are safe and we have something to eat. :)

I miss those days when we would just spend time together doing nothing. I miss the times  when we would share stories and laugh at each other's experience. We love to talk. Our friendship is full of stories. Friendship that would last a life time. I miss them so much.

Nowadays, we barely see each other. All of us are busy spending our time studying. But we try our best to see each other during our free time. Every time we see each other, it's amazing. I wish we could spend more time together like we usually do before. But I know and understand why we can;t do that. I know that even if we don't see each other frequently, deep in our hearts we are together:)

BEHIND THE CAMERA

Many things happen behind the lenses of the camera. If I’m going to take the path leading to the world of mass communication, I’d like to practice any career that is behind the camera. It could be a segment producer, a researcher, an advertiser or even an assistant.

I like to see my name on the credits at the end of a certain show because it’s the only way people that I know will recognize me. Any career that’s behind the camera would be perfect for me because I know I can prove myself in this field. I don’t want to end up a mess reporter who couldn’t speak for herself on TV because she’s scared.

Life?

How can you say you’re contented with your life? How do you deal with it? Many of us think that life is unfair. Life maybe hard but not unfair. I believe that we make our own future. We are the ones to be blame to whatever may happen to our lives.

                Human needs are unlimited while our resources are limited. That’s why we suffer from scarcity. We have plenty of needs but few treasures to dig. There’s a saying “Be contented of what you have but don’t be contented with what you are.” I believe that if only people will use whatever they have in their hands to improve their lives. There’s no need for us to suffer and have a hard living. We only need to work hard so that we can eat and be able to survive life. We badly need to improve our daily living as well as ourselves. It is our foundation to achieve our dreams.

                A person is useless when he is not doing anything to change his life. Nobody will change your life for you. It is your obligation. It is only you who can help yourself. Everything is in your hands. So you must take a step and create an action towards life improvement.

                Remember: you don’t need to have all the money and power in this world. All you need is faith in God. You do the things you need to accomplish and He will find His way to your heart to help you.
